The Dubbo Stampede
The Dubbo Stampede is New South Wales’ longest running (please excuse the pun) running festival with events that take place through a working zoo.
With parts of the track leading through Dubbo’s Taronga Western Plains Zoo, this unique running festival “gives you health, wealth, wellbeing and community. And monkeys”. Active people, animal people, charity fund raisers, families and everyone in between will have a blast at this annual running festival.
Whether you’re taking part in the Stampede, or simply spectating, this fun activity is actually 5 energetic events rolled into one:

- 1-day entry to Taronga Western Plains Zoo before or after your race on Stampede weekend.
