Dubbo BCIB International Fours Tournament
The BCIB City of Dubbo International Fours Tournament is an international lawn bowls tournament held in Dubbo, NSW. The competition is billed as being the richest tournament of its kind in the world, with a staggering $100,000 prize pool on offer.
While Club Dubbo plays host to several lawn bowls tournaments and events throughout the year, the BCIB International Fours is, without question, the largest and most prestigious event held by the Club.
The Tournament has a Bowls Australia Tier 3 ranking and is a Two Bowl Open Fours team event. Players of all ages in men’s, women’s and mixed teams, are eligible to register. As an international tournament, it is expected to attract high calibre lawn bowlers from around the world, dependent upon current COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time of the Tournament.
Information about Club Dubbo and BCIB City of Dubbo International Fours
The tournament is to be held at Club Dubbo, otherwise known as West Dubbo Bowls Club, which is located adjacent to Sir Roden Cutler Park and the beautiful Macquarie River, overlooking Sandy Beach and Sandy Beach Disc Golf Course on the opposite side of the river.
Club Dubbo has social events on throughout the week of the Tournament, including Bingo and Meat Raffles, which are open to both members and visitors of the Club. The Club also has a variety of catering options available.
Spectator entry to the Tournament is free, however the number of spectators allowed at the Tournament will likely be dependent upon Club Dubbo’s capacity and current COVID-19 restrictions as regards events and social distancing regulations.
