On every 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, Dubbo Farmers Market is a free market that offers a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. Sustainable City Expo and Science Festival
Dubbo Regional Council is the organiser of the free 2018 Dubbo Sustainable City Expo and Science Festival to be held on Saturday 25 August 2018. The 13th annual Expo & Science Festival aims to provide information to the Dubbo community about how to live and work more sustainably; promote the wonders of science; and highlight how science can help to achieve a sustainable future.
Dubbo Sustainable City Expo and Science Festival will feature:
– Sustainable living exhibits, with tips on how to reduce household energy and water bills, create less waste, and live in harmony with the environment
– Hands-on science exhibits to inspire and engage the local community about the wonders of science
– Science Café with light refreshments available for purchase
– Plenty of kids’ activities and competitions to enter!
